A stubborn teacher and confused deaf student find themselves in a trap after a classroom confrontation. The only key they have is an anonymous text message “Communicate to be free”.

Like the sorrowful passing of a cold winter day into frozen night do I anticipate a slant of light, flickering in the distance, perpetually beyond my reach.
Projection Performance piece combining digitally projected audio and video combined with projected painted 16mm film. The piece is inspired by my favorite poet; Emily Dickinson.

Appalachian Edge Film Fest

Recently, my wife, Nicolette Swift and I have been asked to accompany a few of our works to Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio on April 13th. Our work will be part of the Appalachian Edge Film Festival program entitle “Short to your Circuitry” at 3:30pm. As part of this program, my two works ;Scenic Views, Cycle of Overuse and my wife’s two works; Can and Lamentation will be screened along with other short and experimental film. Inspired by one of Murphy’s lesser known laws which discusses the ways in which applied force and repetitiveness affect objects, Cycle of Overuse expresses both force and repetition upon the human hand and provides a subtle but tendon popping and knuckle cracking conclusion. This film debuted at the Summer CMIAR in August 2010
